The LFC Area balance is calculated for each TSO from the sum of all measures used for balancing. The sum of these forms the GCC balance for Germany. The balances provide information on the deviation of consumption from generation, the absolute value of which is minimized by the TSOs through the use of balancing capacity.
The minute-by-minute GCC balance is also used for the publication of the GCC balance traffic light.

Please note that the quality-assured data points (GCC balance and IP modules & IP financial impact) will be published from the eighth working day after the data is complete. If necessary, these can be updated up to the 20th working day of the following month, i.e. up to the publication of the reBAP.
