The minute-by-minute GCC balance shows the current system balance status. This makes a possible shortfall or surplus visible.
On this page, the four transmission system operators present the minute-by-minute GCC balance. It shows the current system balance status with a short time delay. Positive values mean that there is a deficit in the system, negative values mean that there is a surplus in the system.
Within a deadband, no information of the direction of the GCC balance is published. Instead, the output is a "-". In particular, the aim is to ensure that the publication displays no signals with a wrong direction.
The German GCC balance is calculated in all grid control systems of the 4 TSOs. To ensure that the publication is as reliable as possible despite the use of operational data, all four calculations are processed and compared with each other. The status makes it transparent how many values could be considered. If there is too little information available or if the values contradict each other, no GCC balance is published.
If the NRV balance per minute is within the dead band, no value is published. Instead, a ‘-’ is displayed.

1) If all existing GCC balance values point in the same direction and their absolute value is > 2000 MW, a GCC balance value is published.
2) At status 4, no value is published.
