The four transmission system operators publish the Imbalance Price Estimator (IP estimator) on this page. This data point is an estimate of the cross-control area imbalance price (reBAP) based on operational data and is published no later than 30 minutes after the respective quarter hour.
The calculation logic follows the steps of the reBAP calculation. However, deviations may occur due to the use of operational data.
The table below provides statistical key figures for evaluating the quality of the IP estimator.
In addition to the estimate itself, a status is also provided which indicates which data could be taken into account in the calculation. The meaning of the various status messages can be found after the data of the IP estimator.
