The LFC Area balance is made up of the activated control power (aFRR and mFRR), the optimization results from the aFRR and mFRR platforms PICASSO (and IGCC) and MARI (exchanged control power), the PRL used, the remaining balance deviations and the special measures used. The minute-by-minute GCC balance is also used to publish the GCC balance traffic light.
