EEG movement data

EEG movement data for annual billing

The transaction data reported by the grid operators subject to purchase and remuneration obligations to the transmission system operators as part of the annual EEG settlement is available for download as a file in accordance with Section 51 (5) EnFG until the end of the following calendar year.

For information on the remuneration categories, please refer to the relevant publications.

In addition, we refer to the breakdown in the “Form of sale” column. This includes the following forms: “Feed-in tariff,” “Market premium,” “Tenant electricity surcharge,” “Outage compensation,” and “Other.” “Other” includes the following items: other direct marketing, non-remunerated self-consumption, compensation for decommissioned plants, flexibility premium, avoided grid fees, municipal participations, and project security contributions.

You will also find the “Month” column in the data packages for each remuneration line. The month column is used to indicate the month to which the market premium determined on a calendar month basis and its electricity volume refer (possibly negative in the case of very high market prices and offset by so-called additional compensation categories). If no monthly allocation of this information is available, a zero entry with the value “0” is displayed.

Please also note that some CSV files contain more rows than can be displayed in spreadsheet software (such as Microsoft Excel). Excel ignores the excess rows without any notification. It is therefore recommended that you use alternative database applications to process the complete contents of the CSV files.

Note:

The information on the annual EEG settlement is not updated on a calendar month basis as required by Section 3 No. 7 EEV, as this information is only collected once a year in accordance with Section 50 No. 2 EnFG.

Publication in accordance with Section 51 (1) No. 2 EnFG takes place on September 15 of each calendar year.
